Check and repair

1. Disassemble the 1St shaft assembly

a. Remove the bearing outer circlip of the 1st shaft.

b. Remove the 1st shaft bearing with a puller.

2. Check the 1St shaft assembly

a. Check the radial runout of the 1st shaft bearing.

b. Check the 1st shaft spline and gear for damage,

measure the wear of the 1st shaft journal , and if worn,
replace the 1st shaft.
