AXLE AND PROPELLER SHAFT - TRANSMISSION SHAFT ASSEMBLY                    34-67
                 REPLACEMENT(2WD)



                 1.     Notices (Refere to "Chapter 34. Axle & transmission shaft - transmission shaft
                        assembly, notices")
                 2.     Lift up the vehicle


                                                            3.     Remove the rear transmission shaft assembly
                                                             (a).   Make the mounting mark on the  rear
                                                                   propeller shaft universal joint and the
                                                                   transmission flange plate assembly.
                                                                NOTICE:
                                                            Ensure the marks are clear and visible.

                                                            (b).   Make the mounting mark on the  rear
                                                                   propeller shaft universal joint and the rear
                                                                   final drive flange plate assembly.
                                                                NOTICE:
                                                            Ensure the marks are clear and visible.

                                                            (c).   Screw out the connecting bolt between the
                                                                   rear propeller shaft universal joint and the
                                                                   transmission flange plate assembly.               34
