System description:
Front fog lamp
Working conditions: The lamplet must be turned on.
The battery provides electric power to the pin 1 and pin 3 of the front fog lamp relay R07 61
via the fuses F28 and F18 in the engine compartment fuse box; With the front fog lamp
switch in the switch cluster turned on, the pin 7 of the switch cluster is earthed, and the
current is output from the pin 8 to the pin E9 of the body control module connector C58 to
provide the front fog lamp switch activation signal;The current is output from D16 of the
body control module C57 to the pin 2 of the front fog lamp relay R07, and thus the coil is
electrified to generate a magnetic field to close the contact. After the contact of the front
fog lamp relay R07 is closed, the current will be output from the pin 5 to the pin 1 of front
fog lamp, and after passing through the filament, it is earthed from the pin 2 to activate the
front fog lamp.
Rear fog lamp
Working conditions:The lamplet must be turned on, and the front fog lamp and/or headlamp
must be turned on.
For the two-wheel-drive models:
With the rear fog lamp switch turned on, the pin 7 of the rear fog lamp switch is earthed,
and the signal is output from the pin 9 to the pin E10 of the body control module C58. To
provide the rear fog lamp activation signal;The power is output from C8 of the body control
module connector C56 to the pin 1 of the rear fog lamp, and after passing through the
filament, it is earthed from the pin 2 to activate the rear fog lamp.
Repair prompt
• C16 switch cluster
7 － 8：activated when the switch cluster is located at the lamplet position, headlamp
position and front fog lamp position.
• C017 rear fog lamp switch
7 － 9：activated when the switch cluster is located at the lamplet position, headlamp
position and rear fog lamp position.
