62-118 DIAGNOSIS-POWER REARVIEW MIRRORS

Diagnosis Procedure

1. Check the rear view mirror folded switch grounding

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
(b). Disconnect the rearview mirror C62 folding switch.

(c). Measure the resistance according to values
in the table below.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is an open circuit)

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter
C62 (1) - Grounding ＜ 2 Ω

Is the result normal?
Yes>To step 2.
No >Repair or replace the harness.

2. Check harness and connector (Electric rearview mirror switch-BCM)

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
(b). Disconnect the rearview mirror C62 folding switch.
(c). Disconnect the body controller connector C57.

(d). Measure the resistance according to values
in the table below.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is an open circuit)

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

C62 (2) - C57(D27) ＜ 2 Ω

Is the result normal?
Yes>To step 3.
No >Repair or replace the harness.
