(c). Measure the voltage with the multimeter on
the voltage range.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is an open circuit)

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter
M09 (1) -Grounding Battery volt

Is the result normal?
Yes>To step 6.
No >Repair or replace the harness.

6. Check the harness and connector (defroster switch-grounding)

(a). Ignition switch:"ON".

(b). Disconnect air conditioning controller
connector C42.

(c). Measure the voltage with the multimeter on
the voltage range.
Standard Voltage：

Connect the pin by Standard Voltage
multimeter

C42 (A10) -Grounding Battery volt

Is the result normal?
Yes>To step 7.
No >Replace the starter cutoff relay R04.
