5. Check the harness and the connector (air condition compressor relay -grounding)

(a). Disconnect the battery negative cable.
(b). Unplug air conditioning compressor relay R14.
(c). Connect the battery negative cable.
(d). Start engine.
(e). Turn on A/C Switch.

(f). Measure the resistance according to values
in the table below.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is an open circuit)

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter
R14(2)—Grounding
Battery volt
R14(3)—Grounding
Is the result normal?
Yes>To step 6.
No >Repair or replace the harness.

6. Check the harness and the connector (air condition controller -A/C Pressure Switch)

(a). Disconnect the battery negative cable.

(b). Disconnect air conditioning controller C42.
