(c). Check rear blower switch connector D53
by using the omh band of the multimeter.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is an open circuit)
Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter 62

D53(1)—Grounding
＜ 2 Ω
D53(3)—Grounding
Is the result normal?
Yes>Go to the next step.
No >Repair or replace the harness.

9. Check the harness and the connector (rear blower switch-air-condition controller )

(a). Disconnect the battery negative cable.
(b). Disconnect rear blower switch connector D53.

(c). Disconnect air conditioning controller
connector C42.

(d). Measure the resistance according to values
in the table below.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is an open circuit)

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

D53(2)—C42(B9) ＜ 2 Ω
