DIAGNOSIS-AUDIO SYSTEM 62-251

Check if the fuse is well.
Yes>To step 4.
No >making fuse (7.5 A), go to step 2. making fuse F3(15A), go to step 3.

2. Check the sound unit module

(a). Dis c onnec t t he bat t er y negat iv e
cable,disconnect audio unit connector C66.
NOTICE:
Be careful not to make sound units drop.

(b). Measure the resistance between the No.4
pin of connector C66 on the sound unit and
the grounding with the multimeter.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is a short circuit)

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter
C66(4) - Grounding ＞ 1MΩ

Is the result normal?
Yes>Replace the CD/DVD sound unit module.
No >Replace the fuse: F22 (7.5 A), repair or replace the connector unit 4 from changing
the fuse F22 (7.5 A) to sound cell B66.

3. Check the sound unit module

(a). Disconnect the battery negative cable,
disconnect audio unit connector C66.

NOTICE:
Be careful not to make sound units drop.
