DIAGNOSIS-LIGHTING SYSTEM 62-303

Symptom description:
Turning the combination switch to the "dipped headlight" gear, one side of the dipped
headlight is not bright while the other side is normal.

Take the front combination lamp LH as example, check the front combination lamp RH with
the same method. 62

Diagnosis Procedure

1. Check the fuse

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
(b). Open the fuse box cover of the engine chamber.
(c). Take out the left dipped headlight fuse F21(10A).
NOTICE:
A special fuse puller is required for removing the fuse. It shall not be directly pulled out by
hand, which will damage the fuse easily.

(d). Check whether the middle fuse wire of the
left dipped headlight fuse F21(10A) is
Disconnect Normal
blown.

Check if the fuse is fusing?
Yes>Replace the fuse.
NOTICE:
While replacing the fuse, be sure to replace it with a fuse of the equal ampere rating value.
The fuse value of the dipped headlight of this vehicle type is 10A.
No ＞ To step 2.

2. Check the bulb of the dipped headlight

(a). Ignition switch:"OFF".
(b). Check whether the connectors of the left and right front combination lamp are loose
or falling off.
(c). Remove the bulbs of the left and right front combination lamp.
