Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>To step 8.
No >Replace the combination switch.

8. Check the harness and the connectors (BCM control unit-combination switch)

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
(b). Disconnect the combination switch connector C16.
(c). Disconnect the BCM control unit connector C58.

(d). Measure the resistance according to values
in the table below.
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is an open circuit)

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter

C16(12) - C58(E6) ＜ 2Ω

Is the result normal?
Yes>To step 9.
No >Maintain or replace the harness.

9. Check the harness and the connectors (BCM control unit-dipped headlight relay)

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
(b). Disconnect the low beam lamp relay connector R2.
(c). Disconnect the BCM control unit connector C57.

(d). Measure the resistance according to values
in the table below
Standard resistance: (check whether there
is an open circuit)

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter
R2(2) - C57(D15) ＜ 2Ω

Is the result normal?
Yes >Replace BCM control unit.
No >Maintain or replace the harness.
