62-400 DIAGNOSIS-LIGHTING SYSTEM

Symptom description：
Switch on the ceiling light in a certain row, the ceiling light doesn't turn on, others are
normal.
△ PROMPT：
Take the front ceiling light as an example, check other ceiling lights with the same method.

Diagnosis Procedure

1. Check ceiling light bulb

(a). Check if the front ceiling light connector is loose and falling off.
(b). Remove front ceiling light bulb.

(c). Connect the positive and negative
electrode of bulb into the positive
and negative electrode of the battery,
respectively to check if the bulb will light
up.

Is the result normal?
Yes>To step 2.
No >Replace the bulb.

2. Check harness disconnection (Front interior light assembly - Body controller)

(a). Disconnect front interior assembly connector F01.
(b). Disconnect body controller connector C54.

(c). Use a multimeter to measure the resistance
between No. 8 terminal of connector F01
OFF T.S
and No. 1 terminal of connector C54.
Ω Standard resistance: (check whether there
is an open circuit)

Is the result normal?
Yes>To step 3.
No >Repair or replace the harness.
