DIAGNOSIS-LIGHTING SYSTEM 62-403

Symptom description：
Switch on vehicle door and interior light, neither step lamp and interior light turns on.

Diagnosis Procedure

1. Check the fuse 62

(a). Ignition switch:"OFF".
(b). Open interior fuse box cover.
(c). Take out energy saving power fuse F36(10A).
NOTICE:
A special fuse puller is required for removing the fuse. It shall not be directly pulled out by
hand, which will damage the fuse easily.

(d). Check if the middle fuse wire of position
lamp fuse F36(10A) is fusing.
Disconnect Normal

Check if the fuse is fusing.
Yes>Replace the fuse.
NOTICE:
While replacing the fuse, be sure to replace it with a fuse of the equal ampere rating value.
The backup lamp fuse value of this vehicle type is 10A.
No >To step 2.

2. Check the harness disconnection

(a). Disconnect body controller C56.

(b). Use a multimeter to measure the voltage
ON between No. 10 terminal of connector C56
