COMBINATION METER

PRECAUTIONS

1. Cut off power supply
(a) . Before removing or installing any electric units and when the tools or equipments
have easy access to the exposed electrical terminals, the battery negative cable
must be firstly disconnected to prevent the damage of maintenance personnel or
vehicle.
(b). During maintenance operations, unless otherwise indicated, the ignition switch must
be off.
(c). When the ignition switch is connected, if the supply line of combination meter is
suddenly interrupted, all indicators will stop in the position at the interruption
moment. After the supply line supplies power again, when the ignition switch is
opened, the combination meter will firstly perform power on self test. After the self
test, the indicator will indicate the current measured value.

2. Ignition switch description

Ignition switch position Ignition switch expression
LOCK Turn Off Ignition System

PARK, connecting the electric equipment when the vehicle stops, such as
ACC
radio and tape player and cigar lighter, etc..

DRIVE, connecting the electric equipment when the vehicle operates,
ON
such as meter and warm-up, etc..
Start, the starter operates, after starting, it will automatically return to "ON"
START
of Drive.
