DIAGNOSIS-LIGHTING SYSTEM 62-313

Symptom description：
Whether the combination switch is turned to the "dipped headlight" gear or not, the dipped
headlights of both sides are often bright.

Diagnosis Procedure
62

1. Check the short circuit to the power supply of the harness

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
(b). Disconnect the left front combination lamp connector A28.
(c). Disconnect the right front combination lamp connector A03.
(d). Turn the combination switch to the "dipped headlight" gear.

(e). Measure the resistance between the No.2
terminal of the left front combination
lamp connector A28 and also the No.2
terminal of the right front combination lamp
connector A03 and the grounding with a
multimeter.
Standard voltage: (check whether there is
a short circuit)

Connect the pin by Standard value
multimeter
A28(2) - Grounding 0V

A03(2) - Grounding 0V

Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>To step 2.
No >Maintain or replace the harness short circuit to the power supply between the A28 and
the left dipped fuse, as well as between the A03 and the right dipped fuse.

2. Check harness short circuit to the grounding

(a). Disconnect the body controller connector C57.
