Check if the result is normal?
YES> To step 3.
NO> If EPS ECU A08 the pin 1 of connector has no battery voltage, repair the open circuit
between fuse F15 (40A) and the pin 1 of EPS ECU A08 connector , if EPS ECU A08
the pin 25 of connector has no battery voltage, repair the open circuit between fuse
F17 (25A) and the pin 25 of EPS ECU A08 connector , if EPS ECU A08 connector
there is no battery voltage in pin 28, repair open circuit between fuse F26 (10A) and
the pin 28 of the EPS ECU A08 connector.

3. Check ESP ECU grounding

(a). Disconnect the ESP ECU A08 connector.
(b). Use a multimeter to measure the voltage
OFF T.S
between pin 13 and 38 of the ESP ECU
A08

Check if the result is normal?
YES> To step 4.
NO> Repair the open circuit of line between pin 13 of ESPECUA08 connector and brake l
ight switch.
Repair the open circuit of line between pin 38 of ESPECUA08 connector and brake
light switch.

4. Check brake signal

(a). Ignition switch:"LOCK".
(b). Stamp down the brake pedal to observe whether the brake lamp is on, if the brake
lamp does not shine, firstly it can exclude the not light failure of brake lamp and if
the brake lamp shines, it should conduct the following checks.

(c). Disconnect the ESP ECU A08 connector .
(d). Use a multimeter to measure the voltage
OFF T.S
between pin 30 of the ESP ECU A08
connector and the ground.
