62-596 DIAGNOSIS-ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM
THE COLD CAR STARTS DIFFICULTLY, THE CAR IS TREMBLED
Fault phenomenon Diagnosis logic Possible reasons
• Poor fuel quality
• Inlet system • Leakage in the gas intake
• Fuel temperature system
• Coolant temperature sensor • Low fuel pressure
• Air flowmeter • Block in the air filter
• Fuel injector
The cold car starts • Ignition timing • Water temp sensor fault
difficultly, the car is • Wrong mixture ratios • Air flow meter failure
trembled • Ailure of idling control valve
• Carbon decomposition of cylinder valve • Injector does not work when
and inlet channel
cold starts
• Inlet pressure temperature sensor • Leakage of the injector
• Idle speed motor • Too low of t he cylinder
• The fuel quality
compression pressure
Diagnosis Procedure
1. Check the motor data
(a). Ignition switch: LOCK。
(b). Connect the diagnosis tool with the fault diagnosis connector (16pins) on the lower
left of the dashboard.
(c). Ignition switch: Turn on the ignition switch, and start the diagnostic tool.
(d). Read the motor data shown on the diagnostic tool.
Check whether the data flow is normalor not.
YES>To step 2.
No >Maintenance related faults.
2. Check battery
(a). Start the motor,check battery voltage。
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>To step 3。
No > Replace the battery or charge the battery
3. Check the starter
(a). Check whether the starter or the starter circuit has fault.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>To step 4。
No >Exclude the problem and confirm that the phenomenon no longer exists.
