DIAGNOSIS-ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM 62-601
Is the inspection result normal?
YES> To step 3。
No > Exclude the problem and confirm that the phenomenon no longer exists.
3. Check the throttle body and idling motor
62
(a). Check whether the throttle has oil and carbon deposition and is stuck or not, the air
intake channel around the throttle has oil and carbon deposition or not,and the idling
motor has carbon deposition or not.
(b). Start the motor, idling rotation.
(c). Use a diagnostic tool, perform the idling motor test.
(d). When the diagnostic tool controls the idling motor extending rotation, the motor
speed can have high or low changes simultaneously. (Feel the shake whentouching
the idling motor by hand.)
(e). Unplug the idling motor plug inspection, measuring connector terminal should be 12
v voltages.
(f). Check whether the idling motor extends or not when the ignition switch is turned on.
(g). When turn off the ignition switch, check the idling motor works or not.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES> To step 4。
No > Clean, fix or change the harness, connector or idling machine.
4. Check the ignition system of the engin
(a). Make the engine idling running, turn off the fire one by one cylinder and observe
whether the motion speed of the engine changes or not.
(b). When the cylinder is disconnected, the engine speed should decrease obviously or
the engine should shake.。
Is the inspection result normal?
YES> To step 11。
No > To step 5。
5. Check the spark plug
(a). Check the high-voltage coil resistance and clean the connector terminals.
(b). Check whether the spark plug has carbon deposition and carbon marks or not, the
ceramic insulation part is cracked and leaked or not, andpositive and negative poles
are ablated or not and clean the spark plug.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES> To step 6。
No > Clean and change the default parts.
