11-8 ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM - ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM
11 A sudden change in engine torque drives the vehicle drive chain, causing vibrations.
These vibrations are considered as an unsatisfactory cyclical change at acceleration,
the active surge decrease is used to reduce these changes during acceleration. While
suddenly accelerating, reduce the driving torque output, and avoid the vibration and
tyre skid caused by the sudden increase of the power output
15 . Smooth running control
When the multi cylinder diesel engine works, even if the fuel injection control command
value is consistent, the engine speed will also fluctuate due to the difference mechanical
performance of each cylinder. Electronic control system of diesel engine, by monitoring
speed change caused during the power stroke and output of each cylinder, automatically
correct fuel injection command control value of each cylinder, reduce the fluctuation
of engine speed, to ensure the engine run smoothly.
