EXHAUST SYSTEM

PRECAUTION
1 . Before the servicing, the mechanic shall wear necessary protective shoes, gloves
and goggles, to ensure personal safety.
2 . Before lifting the vehicle, check whether the lifting system is working properly,
whether the vehicle is appropriately parked and whether the connection points
between the lifting arm and the vehicle are optimally adjusted. Before lifting or
lowering the vehicle, ensure the space beneath the vehicle is clear.
3 . Non-original parts should not be used as they may undermine normal operation.

Original parts should be used.
4 . Switch off the ignition before operating the exhaust system.Wait until the exhaust
system is cooled down; Otherwise, it may cause scald people.
5 . Exhaust pipe gasket should be replaced when it is removed to keep the exhaust
system airtight.
6 . Apply some engine oil on rubber lifting lug connections to facilitate removal
and installation.
7 . Do not wet or taint the oxidizing catalyst inside the oxidation catalyst in installing
and removing the oxidation catalyst assembly. Otherwise, the oxidation catalyst
will become ineffective. 16A
