EXHAUST - EXHAUST SYSTEM 16-3

EXHAUST SYSTEM CHECK AND ADJUSTMENT

Check the following components, and adjust or replace if necessary
• Check whether there is a crack at the joint of the exhaust system, whether the
weld seam is broken and whether the connecting bolts and nuts are excessively
corroded.
• Check whether the exhaust pipe hanger is reliable and whether the hanging
cushion is over deformed or damaged.
Adjustment
The exhaust system vibration, clicking or bonding parts are usually shown that a part of the 16
exhaust system deviates from the position. At this time, check whether the exhaust system
is broken,whether the hanger, the hanging cushion and the heat insulation board are loose.
Adjust or replace parts as required.

When the exhaust system is aligned, perform the following:
1 . Loosen the connections between components of the exhaust system.
2 . Start from the front of the exhaust system and correct backwards.
3 . Once the calibration has been completed, tighten all connections, bolts and
nuts.
