71-38 WIRING - SYSTEM CIRCUIT DIAGRAM
Description:
The diesel engine management system mainly consists of three parts: sensor signal
input, electronic control module and actuator control.
• Signal Input
Signals are transmitted from pin 52 of the ECM to pin 3 of the clutch switch
connector. When the clutch pedal is depressed, signals are sent from pin 4 to pin
29 of the ECM after the brake lamp switch contact closes, thus providing the brake
lamp switch signal.
• Accelerator pedal position sensor
The accelerator pedal position sensor detects positions of the accelerator pedal.
It will transmit the varying information amount to the ECM instantly when detecting
that the accelerator pedal position is changed. Then, the ECM will calculate and
71
process the information and use it as one of basic signals for adjusting fuel injection
volume.
Installation position: at the accelerator pedal.
