WIRING - SYSTEM CIRCUIT DIAGRAM 71-43
Description:
When the ignition switch is ON/ST, current flows from fuse F30 of the body fuse box to
pin 19 of the instrument cluster. Through the charging indicator, it outputs from pin 23
of the instrument cluster to pin L of the generator into the generator. When it flows from
the internal voltage regulator to the generator excitation winding, the exciting winding is
energized and a magnetic field is produced.
When the generator rotates, the stator coils cut the magnetic lines to produce three-phase
induced electromotive force. Then it is converted into DC via a rectifier composed of
diodes and output all the way from pin B of the generator via fuse F28 of engine
compartment fuse box to charge the battery and supply electric power to other consumers.
