3 . Check exhaust pressure sensor harness
(a) Ignition switch: OFF.
(b) Disconnect the battery negative cable.
(c) Disconnect the exhaust pressure sensor connector E16.
(d) Disconnect connector E01 of ECM.

(e) Use a multimeter to measure the resistance
between the pin 2, 3 of the exhaust pressure
sensor connector E16 and the pin 19, 71 of
ECM connector E01 respectively.

Standard value

E16（2）- E01（19） ＜10 Ω
E16（3）- E01（71） ＜10 Ω
(f) Use a multimeter to measure the resistance
between the pin 2, 3 of the exhaust pressure
sensor connector E16 and ground.

E16（2）- ground ＞ 10 MΩ
E16（3）- ground ＞ 10 MΩ
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>To step 4.
No > Maintain or replace the harness.
4 . Replace exhaust pressure sensor
(a) Replace exhaust pressure sensor
(b) Use a diagnostic apparatus to perform DTC verification procedures.
(c) Implement the steps to read sensor data stream.
(d) Check whether DTC exists.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>Replace exhaust pressure sensor.
