Diagnostic procedure

1 . Check battery voltage

(a) Unplug battery positive and negative binding post.

(b) Use a multimeter to measure the voltage
between the battery positive and negative 04
electrode.
Multimeter connection Standard value

Battery positive
electrode - negative About 12V
electrode

Check if the result is normal?

YES> To step 2.
NO> Replace ot charge the battery.

2 . DTC inspection

(a) Turn off the ignition switch and all the
electrical appliances and connect the vehicle
diagnostic device to the diagnose interface.
(b) With the ignition switch: "ON", read and clear
the DTC with the vehicle diagnostic device.
(c) Turn of the ignition switch and all the electrical
appliances and after 3~5 seconds reset the
ignition switch on the "ON" gear.
(d) Read the DTC with the vehicle diagnostic
device again.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES> To step 3.

No >For accidental faults, check whether the plug of the airbag electronic control unit
connector is loosen and eroded.

3 . Check reversing lamp relay
(a) Ignition switch: "LOCK".
