(d) Ignition switch: "ON".
(e) Examine voltage between pin 9 of TCU
connector P001 and ground with a multimeter.
Standard Voltage:

Multimeter connection Standard value
pin 04
P001(9) - ground Battery voltage

Check if the result is normal?
YES> To step 3.
NO> If connector TCU P001 Pin 14 has no battery voltage, repair the open circuit
between fuse F10 (10 A) and connector TCU P001 Pin 14. If connector TCU P001 Pin
9 has no battery voltage, repair the open circuit between fuse F19 (5 A) and connector
TCU P001 Pin 9.

3 . Check harness and connector(TCU-grounding)
(a) Ignition switch: "OFF".

(b) Examine resistance between Pin 13 of TCU
connector P001 and ground and Pin 16 of
connector TCU P001 and ground respectively
with a multimeter.

Standard resistance:

Multimeter connection Standard value
pin
P001(13) - ground ≤ 2Ω

P001(16) - ground ≤ 2Ω

Check if the result is normal?
YES> To step 4.
NO>Repair circuit between Pin 13 of connector TCU P001 and ground connection and
Pin 16 of connector TCU P001 and ground connection.

4 . Check harness and connector (TCU-diagnose interface)
(a) Ignition switch: "OFF"
