(a) Disconnect connector P002 with the gearshift
lever.
(b) Ignition switch:"ON".
(c) Examine voltage between Pin 6 of the
combination meter connector P002 and
ground connection with a multimeter.

Standard Voltage:

Multimeter connection Standard value
pin

P002 (6) - ground Battery voltage

Check if the result is normal?
YES> To step 3.
NO> If connector P002 Pin 6 of gearshift lever has no battery voltage, repair the open
circuit between fuse F19 (5 A) and connector P002 Pin 6 of gearshift lever.

3 . Check harness and connector (Gearshift lever - ground connection)
(a) Ignition switch:"OFF".

(b) Examine resistance between Pin 12 of the
combination meter connector P002 and
ground connection with a multimeter.
Standard resistance:

Multimeter connection Standard value
pin
P002(12) - ground ≤ 2Ω

Check if the result is normal?
YES> To step 4.
NO>Repair circuit between connector P002 Pin 12 and ground connection.

4 . Check harness and connector(Parking brake lock - gearshift lever)
(a) Ignition switch:"OFF".
(b) Disconnect connector C004 of the parking brake lock.
(c) Disconnect connector P002 with the gearshift lever.
