62-8 DIAGNOSIS-SUPPLEMENTAL INFLATABLE RESTRAINT SYSTEM (SRS)

Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>To step 2.
No >Replace or charge the battery.

2. DTC Test

(a). Turn off the ignition switch and all the
electrical appliances and connect the
vehicle diagnostic device to the diagnose
interface.
(b). With the ignition switch: "ON", read and
clear the DTC with the vehicle diagnostic
device.
(c). Turn off the ignition switch and all the
electrical appliances and after 3~5 seconds
reset the ignition switch on the "ON" gear.
(d). Read the DTC with the vehicle diagnostic
device again.

Is the inspection result normal?
Yes>To step 3.
No >For accidental faults, check whether the plug of the airbag electronic control unit
connector is loosen and eroded.

3. Check fuse

(a). Ignition switch:"ON".

(b). Check SRS system fuse F24(7.5A) in the
body fuse box.
Disconnect Normal

Is the result normal?
Yes>To step 4.
No >Replace the fuse.
NOTICE:
While replacing the fuse, be sure to replace it with a fuse of the equal ampere rating value.
The fuse value of this vehicle type is 7.5A.
