15. Install the oil pan upper body
(a). Use the sealant scraper to remove the
residual Loctite sealant 5970 on the oil pan
and front cover.

(b). Remove the residual Loctite 5970 sealant 12C
on the mounting surface of the oil pan
upper body and front cover mounting
surface (for example, use the rotary plastic
brush).
(c). Clean the sealing surface to make sure
that it is free from oil or grease.

(d). Cut the tube nozzle at the front mark ( the
nozzle diameter is about 3 mm).

(e). As shown in the figure, evenly apply the
Loctite 5970 sealant onto the mounting
surface of the oil pan upper body.
Sealant line width: 2 ~ 3 mm
NOTICE:
•Before application of the Loctite 5970 sealant,
check the type and validity of the Loctite 5970
sealant.
•The oil pan upper body must be fitted within 5
