REMOVAL AND INSTALLTING

1. Remove the turbocharger intake pipe
(a). Remove these 3 turbocharger intake pipe
fixing bolts (arrow direction), and take
down the turbocharger intake pipe and
turbocharger intake pipe pad ① .

2. Check the turbocharger intake pipe
(a). Check the turbocharger intake pipe pad.
•Check the turbocharger intake pipe pad for wear and breakage; if any,
immediatelyreplace it.

3. Install the turbocharger intake pipe
(a). Install the turbocharger intake pipe pad ① and the turbocharger intake pipe at the
same time.

(b). Install the turbocharger intake pipe fixing
bolt (arrow direction) and tighten it with the
torque of 9±1 N•m.

4. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield
(a). Remove the upper small coolant pipe unit
fixing bolt (arrow direction).
