11-60 ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM - ENGINE PREHEATING SYSTEM
11 REPLACEMENT THE INLET HEATER
1 . Switch off the ignition.
2 . Open the engine hood.
3 . Remove the battery. (Refer to "Chapter 20 Starting and Charging - battery,
replacement")
4 . Drain the engine coolant. (Refer to "Chapter 05 Vehicle Maintenance - Replace
Coolant, replacement")
5 . Screw out the engine oil cap, and take out
the engine trim cap.
6 . Release the fixing clamp, and disconnect
the intercooler exhaust pipe and the
electronic throttle valve.
7 . Remove the electronic throttle valve.
