HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP

REPLACEMENT 12
CAUTION

• Ensure the working site is equipped with fire extinguishers before operating the
fuel system.
• Do not use any spark or flame source during the operation of the fuel system.

1 . Switch off the ignition.
2 . Release the fuel pressure. (Refer to "Chapter 12 Fuel - fuel system, precaution")
3 . Disconnect battery negative cable. (Refer to "Chapter 20 Start & charge - battery,
replacement")

4 . Disconnect the connector.
5 . Screw out the high pressure fuel pipe oil
pipe joint.

6 . Press the lock piece and release the fuel
supply pipe joint.
7 . Press the lock piece and release the fuel
return pipe joint.

8 . Remove flywheel housing. (Refer to "Chapter 15 Engine Mechanical System -
flywheel, flywheel housing, cylinder block, crankshaft, , overhual")
