9 . Screw out the high pressure fuel pump
drive gear fixing nut.

10 . Screw out the high pressure fuel pump
fixing bolt, and remove the high pressure
fuel pump.
CAUTION

• The gasket ring has to be replaced after
every removing.

11 . Replace a new gasket ring, install the high
pressure fuel pump, and tighten the fixing
bolts.

12 . Tighten the high pressure fuel pump drive
gear fixing nut.

13 . Remove flywheel housing. (Refer to "Chapter 15 Engine Mechanical System -
flywheel, flywheel housing, cylinder block, crankshaft, , overhual")
