(d) Remove the front transmission shaft
assembly.
4 . Remove the Rear Transmission Shaft
Assembly
(a) Mark the rear transmission shaft cardin joint
and the flange assembly.
CAUTION
Ensure the marks are clear and visible.
(b) Unscrew the bolts connecting the intermediate
transmission shaft cardin joint and the
transmission flange assembly. 34
(c) Unscrew the retaining bolts of the
intermediate bearing bracket.
CAUTION
During this step, one mechanic is required to
hold the intermediate transmission shaft.
