AXLE AND PROPELLER SHAFT - TRANSMISSION SHAFT ASSEMBLY 34-61

(b) Tighten the bolts connecting the rear
transmission shaft cardin joint and the rear
main reducer flange assembly.
Torque: 65 ~ 79N·m

CAUTION

During this step, one mechanic is required to
hold the intermediate transmission shaft in
suspension.

(c) Tighten the retaining bolts of the intermediate
bearing bracket.
Torque: 58 ~ 70N·m

(d) Tighten the bolts connecting the intermediate
transmission shaft cardin joint and the
transmission flange assembly. 34
Torque: 65 ~ 79N·m

8 . Install the Front Transmission Shaft
Assembly

(a) Install the front transmission shaft assembly
as marked.

CAUTION

Install them as marked.
