(c) Separate the intermediate bearing from the
bearing base with hammer and cooper rod.

7 . Check the Intermediate Bearing
(a) Check the smooth rotation of the intermediate bearing.
(b) Check for overly wear of the intermediate bearing.
(c) Replace a new intermediate bearing if needed.
8 . Install the Intermediate Bearing Assembly

(a) Apply some grease on the intermediate bearing and the bearing base.
Grease: No. 2 lithium base grease

(b) Install the intermediate bearing into the
bearing base with hammer and cooper rod.

(c) Install 2 oil seals on both sides.
