36-6 PARKING BRAKE - PARK BRAKE CABLE
PARK BRAKE CABLE
REPLACEMENT
1 . Remove the rear wheel brake. (Refer to "Chapter 35. Brake - rear wheel brake,
overhaul")
2 . Disconnect the connection between the park brake front cable assembly and
the park brake lever assembly. (Refer to "Chapter 36. Park brake - park brake
lever, replacement")
3 . Remove the park brake front cable
assembly.
(a) Screw out the bolts of the park brake front
cable fixing clamp and the apron.
(b) Unscrew the retaining bolts of the heat shield
and remove the heat shield.
