PARKING BRAKE - PARK BRAKE CABLE 36-9

(d) Tighten the retaining bolts of the heat shield
and install the heat shield.
Torque: 20±2N•m

(e) Tighten the bolts of the park brake front cable
fixing clamp and the apron.

Torque: 8±2N•m

5 . Connect the front park brake cable assembly and the park brake lever assembly. 36
(Refer to "Chapter 36. Park brake - park brake lever, replacement")
6 . Install rear wheel brake. (Refer to "Chapter 35. Brake - rear brake, overhaul")
7 . Adjust the brake shoe clearance. (Refer to "Chapter 35. Brake - rear brake,
overhaul")
8 . Check and adjust the park brake lever travel. (Refer to "Chapter 36. Park brake
- park brake system, adjustment")
