36-14 PARKING BRAKE - PARK BRAKE

(d) Install the lower return spring and gap mixer
assembly.

(e) Install the brake shoe dowel spring.

DANGER
When removing the brake shoe tension spring,
be careful not to cause personal injury.

10 . Install the rear brake drum.

11 . Top up the brake fluid.
12 . Discharge the air in the brake system (Refer to "Chapter 35. Brake - brake system,
discharge air")
13 . Check for leakage in the brake pipe.
14 . Install the rear wheel brake. (Refer to "Chapter 35. Brake - rear wheel brake,
overhaul")
15 . Install the rear wheel. (Refer to "Chapter 33. Wheel & tire - rear wheel & tire,
replacement")
