STEERING PIPE ASSEMBLY

REPLACEMENT 52
CAUTION

• Plug the disconnected steering system pipe to prevent impurities from entering
the pipe.
• When disconnecting the pipe, collect the steering oil from the pipe with a
container, to avoid contaminating the vehicle and the environment.

1 . Drain the steering oil can with fluid recovery device.
2 . Remove the engine base plate. (Refer to "Chapter 31. Front suspension -
stabilizer, replacement")

3 . Remove the Steering Oil Pipe Assembly
(a) Remove the plastic tape around the pipe.

(b) Remove the clip and disconnect the
connection to the steering oil can.

(c) Remove the clip and remove the steering oil
pump oil inlet pipe.
