Diagnostic steps

1 . Measure the electrical resistance based on the value in the following form.

(a) Switch over the ignition switch to “OFF”.

Check whether the result is normal?
Yes> go to step 2

No> replace connection harness

2 . Check whether the output signal is normal.
(a) Start the vehicle
(b) Switch over transfer gear switch to different gears .
(c) Check whether there is voltage output.

Check whether the result is normal?
Yes> Replacement motor assembly.
NO> Replace control unit.
