Family Turkey Decorating Contest a Success

This year Heritage brought back their annual Family Turkey Decorating Contest. A total of 316 posters were
decorated by our students and their families; that’s almost 75% of our enrollment. Students in all grades
participated and were excited to see what new turkey would be hung next. Classes took a turkey stroll through
school to judge the winner of the “Student Choice” award while district administrators visited and judged the
other winners. We want to say that we are so thankful for our PTO that traced all these turkeys and managed the
contest along with all our families and their commitment to our school and students. It is all of you that made
this such a fun experience for all; we are all winners because of it.
