Contributions to the Society of Malaŵi Journal:

The purpose of the Society is to encourage, promote, and disseminate the
study of ethnology, history, geography, natural history and kindred sciences in
their relationships with Malaŵi. Back-issues of the Journal from 1948 may be
accessed online via JSTOR. There is presently a moving one-year wall in place
which means that only the Journals of the years preceding the current and previous
publication years are JSTOR accessible.

The Society of Malaŵi Journal welcomes contributions from both
academics and non-academics alike. All academic papers submitted are subject to
the Society’s peer review mechanism.

Short articles, book reviews, obituaries and letters will also be considered
as well as longer pieces up to a maximum of 6,000 words. Any photographs or
illustrations should be submitted as separate jpeg attachments with accompanying
descriptions and citations as appropriate.

Contributors are specifically requested to submit their contributions in
MSWord format and not to embed photos, illustrations, tables, or text within their
narrative but to submit such as separate digital files. Brief autobiographical
details and a photograph (optional) are requested. Any enquiries or queries should
be directed to the Hon Editor in the first instance.
