Sambutan terhadap ketiga-tiga platform Media
Sosial Jabatan PERHILITAN amat
memberangsangkan dan bagi platform Facebook,
ianya telah mencapai sasaran melebihi 100 ribu
followers pada tahun 2020. Media sosial juga
menjadi salah satu saluran untuk orang awam
menyampaikan aduan bukan sahaja berkaitan
konflik hidupan liar malah aduan jenayah.
Sepanjang tahun 2020, Jabatan telah menerima
sejumlah 553 aduan atau pertanyaan melalui
saluran Facebook sahaja. Aduan-aduan berkaitan
jenayah telah disalurkan ke Bahagian
Penguatkuasaan dan beberapa kes jenayah siber
telah dapat ditumpaskan hasil daripada maklumat
yang disalurkan oleh orang awam di media sosial
Jabatan.
The response to the Social Media accounts of
PERHILITAN is very encouraging and for the
Facebook platform, it has reached the target of
more than 100 thousand followers. Social media
has become one of the channels for the public to
submit complaints not only related to wildlife
conflicts but also wildlife crimes. During 2020, the
Department received a total of 553 complaints or
inquiries viaFacebook. Complaints related to
crime have been channelled to the Enforcement
Division and several cybercrime cases have been
solved as a result of information channelled by the
public on the Department's social media.
