1. Domestic Coldwater • Inside this building there are quite a number of domestic old
Storage tank (DCW)
water storage that located at 18 and 36 floor.

• The storage tank will receive the water supply from SYABAS
which being transported from tank at the basement with the

help of the pump
• The storage tank being separate for the usage for example

they have storage tank for basin, for the suction tank and etc.

2. Pipes • Distribution pipes are smaller pipes that carry water from the

storage to distributed through out the building.
• for storage tank at 18 floor, the pipeline will bring the water

and distributed it to lower level and pipe at 36 th level will

convey the water to floor 35 to floor 19.

• There are Cold Water Supply pipe (CWS), Cold Water
Return(CWR), Treatment Waste Water (TWW).

• The pipe are using ductile cast iron materials.

3. Pumps • A pump is a devices that move the fluids, or sometimes slurry

by mechanical action.
• Pumps can be classified into three major groups according to

the method they use to move the fluids. Which are direct lift,

displacement and gravity.

• They are using the pump to suck the water to enter the suction
tank.

• They are using pump type RSV 8-140 to be specific.
