TAMPA ORGANIZATION OF BLACK AFFAIRS SUPPORTS MEN OF VISION
The Tampa Organization of Black Affairs (TOBA) recently recognized the “Men of Vision” (MOV) for its work to provide positive ex- periences to better prepare Black male students for life. TOBA presented the MOV with supplemental funding to support their college tours program. Dr. Glenn Cherry, TOBA Board Member and Chairman of its Youth Development Committee said, “It is part of TOBA’s mission to sponsor various programs that refine the leadership skills of our youth. Furthermore, we support and encourage young people so that they can develop pride and gain confidence within themselves to be successful and productive in their personal lives and be better prepared to become future leaders within our community.”
