Barksdale Seniors Host Stage Production
On February 24, 2016, the Barksdale Seniors presented their stage production, “From the Cotton Fields to The White House.”

The cast of “From The Cotton Fields To The White House”: John Wise, Bobie Bagley (M-Cee), Helen Gathers, Ovetta Williams (Dancer), Betty Maher, Naomi Canty, Maria Pignapello, Mattie White, Sadie Perry, Joe Pignapello, Annette Gambrell (Host), Sandra Chavero, Lue Henry Davis, Helen Thompson, Horace Burnett (Security), Belinda Jefferson (Rosa Parks), Leverne Latson (Michele Obama), Willie Escalante (President Obama), and Tony Ligorio (Security).
Barksdale Center residents: Carole Turner, Mevy Doyrt, Gloria Barbas, Mary Fuentes and Yvonne March.
Cast members and friends: Shawayne Craig, Ovetta Williams, Naomi Strickland, Gwen Butler, and Willie Escalante.
