RAY WILLIAMS
MRS. NETTIE M. BROWN
Mrs. Nettie M. Brown of Tampa, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2015.
Funeral services will be con- ducted Saturday, August 15, 2015, at 2 p. m. at Mount Olive A. M. E. Church, 1902 W. LaSalle Street, with Reverend Greg V. Gay, Sr., pastor, offici- ating. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Ceme- tery.
Mrs. Brown was a native of Live Oak, FL, and she received Christ at an early age. She moved to Gainesville, FL, and joined Bethel A. M. E. Church, after relocating to Fort Laud- erdale, FL, she joined Mt. Her- man A. M. E. Church under Reverend Shep Hunter. Later in life she moved to Tampa, and joined Mt. Olive A. M. E. Church where she remained a faithful member until her death.
She served on Choir #2, Prayer Band, Brother Robert Wright Sunday School, Lay- man Class Leader, and Stew- ardess Board #1.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nathaniel and Eliza Garrett.
Mrs. Brown was a loving and caring Aunt.
She leaves to mourn her passing: her devoted nephew, Fred R. Garrett and wife, Brenda of Cooper City, FL; great niece, Tangela Sweeting; great nephew, Kevin Garrett (Denon); great niece, Trina Garrett (James); great niece, Katonya BienAime (Jean); and four great-great nieces, three great-great nephews, and 1 great-great-great niece and 1 great-great-great nephew.
THERE WILL BE NO PUB- LIC VIEWING on Friday, Au- gust 14. Viewing will be one hour prior to service on Satur- day, August 15, 2015, at the Church.

MRS. ALTHEA D. DAVIS
Mrs. Althea D. Davis of Tampa, passed away Monday, August 3, 2015.
Funeral services will be con- ducted Saturday, August 15, 2015, at 10:30 a. m. at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, 4202 W. Nassau Street, Rev- erend Dr. Linda C. Reese, pas- tor, with Reverend Elliott McBride, officiating, and Pas- tor Michael Warren of Pleas- ant View Missionary Basis Church, Apopka, FL, eulogist. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Mrs. Davis was a native of Citra, FL, and a resident of Tampa, for 65 years. She was a graduate of Middleton High School, class of 1952.
Althea completed Cosmetol- ogy School and became an En- trepreneur by opening her own beauty salon. She later fur- thered her career as a Parapro- fessional for the School District of Hillsborough County, where she retired.
Althea was a member of Pil- grim Rest Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as a choir member.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Sam Adkins, Mazilla Clark Adkins and John Henry Wilkerson, Sr.; guardians, James and Gwen- dolyn Tucker; husband of 52 years, Equilla Davis; son, An- thony Davis, Sr.; grandson, James Davis; sister, Jacquelyn T. Bowers; brothers, Tony Hin- ton, David Fountain and John Henry Wilkerson, Jr.; and sis- ter-in-law, JoAnne Wilkerson.
She leaves to cherish her memory: three loving and car- ing grandchildren, Karyn, Ur- shala and Anthony Davis, Jr., all of Tampa; siblings, Jonnie DuBois (Freeman) of Hawthorne, FL, Sam Wilker- son (Ruth) of Ocala, FL, Clyde Wilkerson (Jennifer) of Ocala, FL, Paul Wilkerson (Louise) of Lakeland, FL, Peter Wilkerson, Sr. (Vernita) of Winter Haven, FL, George Wilkerson of Riverdale, GA, Matthew Ad- kins (Geraldine) of Reddick, FL, Leslie Adkins (Juanita) of Reddick, FL, and James Bow- ers; her special nieces, Melissa Wilkerson of Tampa, and Tonya Lewis of Gainesville, FL; sisters-in-law, Ethel Hinton; Shirley Fountain of Orange Lake, FL, and Mackie Wilker- son of Reddick, FL; uncle, But- ler Higgins (Mercie) of Dunnellon, FL, and Richard James of Ocala, FL; and a host of special nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and many oth- ers who loved her.

MR. ALONZO G. HOWARD
Mr. Alonzo G. Howard, af- fectionately known as "Al" and "Bop," of Tampa, passed away Monday, August 10, 2015.
Funeral services will be con- ducted Thursday, August 20, 2015, at 6 p. m. at Highland Av- enue Church of Christ, 2800 Highland Avenue, with Brother Andrew Atkison, offi- ciating.
Mr. Howard was a native of Tampa, for 60 years where he attended the public schools of Hillsborough County, and was a graduate of Robinson High School class of 1972.
He was a member of High- land Avenue Church of Christ and was employed by Tampa Electric as a mechanic.
He was preceded in death by: his grandfather, Julius Howard; and grandmother, Al- coria Mobley.
He leaves to cherish his memory: son, Maurice G. Howard and wife and one grandson; mother, Bernice Smith; two brothers, Larry Brown and wife, Agnita, and Cedric Brown; two sisters, Ce- celia Albury and husband, Bernard, and Terry McCrea and husband, Eddie; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The remains will repose one hour prior to service on Thurs- day, August 20, 2015, at 5 p. m. at Highland Avenue Church of Christ.

Mrs. Edith Brinson Man- ning of Tampa, passed away August 5, 2015.

Mrs. Manning was a native of Cairo, Georgia, and a resi- dent of Tampa for 75 years. She was a member of St. John Cathedral Church.

MS. KAREN ELAINE MCINTYRE
Ms. Karen Elaine McIntyre of Tampa, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2015.
Funeral services will be con- ducted Saturday, August 15, 2015, at 11 a. m. at St. John Pro- gressive M. B. Church, 2504 Chipco Street, Reverend Dr. Bartholomew Banks, Sr., pas- tor, with Reverend Garland Phillips, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Me- morial Park Cemetery.
Ms. McIntyre was a native of Panama City, FL, and a resi- dent of Tampa for 54 years. She was educated by the public schools of Panama City and the School District of Hillsborough County.
At an early age, Karen made Jesus Christ her choice at Pot- ter’s Temple, First Born Church of the Living God, and currently was a member of St. John Progressive M. B. Church. Ms. McIntyre's last professional career was as a Pharmaceutical Courier.
She was preceded in death by: her sister, Sherry Gillespie; and brother-in-law, Harold Gillespie Sr.
Karen leaves a lifetime of wonderful memories to be cherished by: her mother, Lula F. McIntyre; daughters, Takiyah Johnson, Kamilah Holden and Rainer McQuay; son-in-law, Carl Holden; grandchildren, Miguel Moore, Taliyah Johnson, Carley Holden, Kylie Holden, and Mi’- cyah Eliassaint; niece, Bridgett Gillespie; nephews, Harold Gillespie, Jr. and children, and Adrian Gillespie and children; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The remains will repose Fri- day, August 14, 2015, from 5-8 p. m. at Beulah Baptist Institu- tional Church, 1006 W. Cy- press Street, Tampa.
