MS. CYNTHIA MARIE WINGO
Ms. Cynthia Marie Wingo of Tampa, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2015.
Funeral services will be con- ducted Saturday, August 15, 2015, at 2 p. m. at Mount Tabor Missionary Baptist Church, 2606 W. Grace Street, with Pastor T. D. Leonard, officiat- ing. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ms. Wingo was a native and resident of Tampa, for 63 years. She graduated from Blake High School, class of 1970, where she was chosen captain of the Cheerleader team and voted “Most Ath- letic”.
In 1961, she was baptized at Mount Tabor Missionary Bap- tist Church. She was an em- ployee for 19 years at Health Point Medical, as an Account Representative.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Claudia and James Wingo; brother, Earl Wingo; and her grandson at birth, Cleate Wilson III.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, James Jackson; 5 devoted chil- dren, Lakesha Thompson and her 2 children, Jarmar Jack- son (Peaches) and his 7 chil- dren, April Jackson (Corey) and her 7 children, Cynthia Jackson (Fabian) and her 1 child, and Alexis Miller and her 3 children; 2 sisters, Diane Wingo-Johnson (Willie) and her 2 children, and Patricia Wingo-Tolbert (Reggie) and her 2 children; 2 brothers, James Wingo and his 4 chil- dren, and Carl Wingo and his 4 children; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and a very devoted cousin, Lonnie Alexander.
The family would like to ac- knowledge, the Russell family, the Bailey family, the Fells family, the Jackson family, the Anderson family, the Thomp- son family, the Johnson fam- ily, the Albury family, and the Caldwell family; and several devoted friends, Cynthia Mar- tin, Markitia, Arletha, Carl, Pat and Anthony Warren, Sadie, Sarah and Erica.

MR. MATHIS GORDON
A memorial service celebra- tion for the life of Mr. Mathis Gordon, who passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2015, will be held Saturday, August 15, 2015,at2p.m.atBethelA.M. E. Church, 915 E. Okaloosa Av- enue, Tampa, 33604, Pastor Delores Washington, officiat- ing.
Mr. Gordon was born on De- cember 28, 1936 to the late Jesse and Lelia Gordon in Shellman, Georgia.
His favorite hobbies were: fishing, riding his bike, enjoy- ing the company of his loving and devoted friend, Abdul Knight.
Mathis was formerly em- ployed by Crowne Doors Com- pany.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse (Lelia) Gordon; sister, Ms. Mane Carter; brother, Mr. Rayfield Gordon; six other sib- lings; and a caring daughter, NeNe.
He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving sister, Ms. Geraldine Nelson; four loving, faithful and devoted children, Sybil Tillman, Kalla Gordon, Michael Simms and Earl Mc- Griff; ten loving grandchil- dren; and a host of nieces and nephews of the Carter, Wilburn, Barnum and Cannon families; and other sorrowing friends of the Sulphur Springs Community Family.
The family would love for family and friends to come out and give God glory for Mike’s life.

Homegoing celebration for Dr. Charles C. Carlman, who went home to be with his Sav- ior on Saturday, August 7, 2015, will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2015, at 2 p. m. at Riverhills Church of God, 6310 E. Sligh Avenue, Tampa, Pastor Al Wolever, with Rev. T. D. Leonard of Mt. Tabor M. B. Church, officiating, with Rev. Thomas Scott of 34th Street Church of God, eulogist. Inter- ment will follow in Myrtle Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.
Dr. Carlman leaves to cher- ish memories of him with: a loving, caring and devoted wife, Phylis Carlman; two daughters, Peggy Saunders and Judith Lankford (Robert); son, Charles “Cary” Carlman; sister‐in‐law, Angie McLaugh- lin; two goddaughters, Crystal Reed and Eboni Huggins; and a host of other nieces, nephews, and many, many sor- rowing friends.
Dr. C. C. Carlman was born and raised in the Cayman Is- lands. He was raised in a sin- gle‐parent home due to the loss of his father at the age of six months.
A community of aunts, un- cles, and cousins helped his mother to raise him.
Dr. Carlman was saved and called to serve at the early age of twelve.
He was educated in the Cay- man Island and travelled to Ja- maica to God’s Bible School, where he received a Certificate in Theology.
Dr. Carlman furthered his Biblical training at American Bible Institute, where he re- ceived his Honorary Doctorate of Divinity Degree.
Dr. Carlman pastored sev- eral churches in the Cayman Islands in the 1950s.
There will be a viewing on Saturday, August 15, 2015, from 1-2 p. m. at Riverhills Church of God.
Friends are asked to assem- ble at approximately 1:45 p. m. on Saturday for the service.

MR. JOHNNY HENRY ‘Q’ GAY
Funeral service for Mr. Johnny Henry “Q” Gay, who passed away on Saturday, Au- gust 5, 2015, will be held at 2 p. m. at Good News Baptist Church, 2314 N. Jefferson Street, Tampa, Rev. E. C. Kelly, pastor, with Pas- tor Randy Polite, officiating. In- terment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
He leaves to cherish memories of him with: his children, Shawn Smith, Sr., Anthony Stephens, Charles Lyles, Felix Gay and Ter- rance Gay; grandsons, Shawn Smith, Jr. and Rae Kwon Lyles; sister, Ruby L. Gay; brothers, Jerry Gay (Debbie), Willie Gay, Larry Gay (Linda), and Simon Gay; a loyal mother-in-law, Maude Stephens; a host of nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, De- lores Wallace (Craig), and Rene Sampson (Walter); brothers-in- law, Robert Stephens (Maria), Jessie Stephens (Latrivette), and William Stephens (Michelle), and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. Johnny Gay was born on September 28, 1946, in Al- bany, Georgia, to the proud parentage of Rosa Lee Gay and Jesse (Buddy) Gay. He was ed- ucated in the public schools of Worth County. He later moved to Tampa, to share his life for over 40 years with his fiancée, the late Janice Stephens.
Mr. Gay was an employee with the City of Tampa Water Department for 25 years. He was truly a blessing to a host of friends and family.
There will be a viewing on Friday August 14, 2015 from 5- 8 p. m. at Wilson Funeral Home. Friends are asked to as- semble at the church on Satur- day at approximately 1:45 p. m.

Graveside services for MSgt. Delaware Lofton, Jr. (U.S.A.F. Retired), who passed away on Friday, August 7, 2015, will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2015, at 3 p. m. at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4207 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, with Rev. Patricia Mosley of Unity A. M. E. Church, officiating.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 13, 2015, at Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Delaware Lofton and Carrie Lofton; and brothers, Willie C. Garrett and William Lofton.
He leaves to cherish fond memories with: a loving wife, Connie Lofton of Atlanta, GA; children, Naomi Lofton, Erick Lofton, and Trey Lofton; two loving stepdaughters, Meagan Dill and Kasey Hudson; grand- children, Christian, Albert, III, and Cameron; two devoted sis- ters, Carrie Hurst (Robert), and Alline Lofton of Tampa; brothers, Johnnie Lofton, Tampa, and Archie Lofton of Scotch Plains, NJ; parents-in- law, Condie, Sr., and Doris Johnson; two devoted sisters- in-law, Deidra Wright (Ricky), and Kimberly Brown (Der- rick); and a brother-in-law, Condie, Jr. (Felicia); and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends.
Delaware was born on Jan- uary 16, 1956, to the late Delaware and Carrie Lofton in Tampa. He accepted Christ at an early age at Zion Hill A. M. E. Church, Tampa under the leadership of Rev. B.O. Pad- gett. He attended the schools of Hillsborough County and grad- uated from Leto High School in 1974. After graduating from high school, he joined the U.S. Air Force and traveled exten- sively. He retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1999 with almost twenty five years of dedicated service. After retiring, he worked briefly with the Medi- caid program for the State of Florida. He then moved to At- lanta, GA in 2002 and worked as an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist for the EOD division of the U.S. Army. He then worked as a Deployment Specialist with the U.S. Army in the Crime Laboratory De- partment where he was presently employed at the time of his death. He was also an ac- tive member of Salem Mission- ary Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA.
