Middleton-Blake Classic Rivalry Football Game Is Friday

The Tigers of Middleton High School will host the 2016 rivalry football game between George S. Middleton and Howard W. Blake High Schools.
The Classic Home Rivalry game with the Tigers and the Yellow Jackets will be held on Friday, September 23, 2016, 7:30 p. m. at Middleton’s Abe Brown Stadium.
Tickets for the game will be on sale at the school on Friday during the school day.
Adam Hill is coach of the Yellow Jackets (2-1, 0-1) and the Tigers (4-0, 1-0), are coached by Fred Reid.

Survivor Chosen As Heart Association Spokesperson
A St. Petersburg resident was recently chosen as a na- tional spokesperson for the American Heart Association. She was selected as the spokesperson for the Go Red For Women Movement.
Ms. Ruby Hope is one of only 11 women chosen from among nominations from throughout the country.
A heart attack survivor, Ms. Hope is an active volunteer with the local American Heart Association and the local Go Red For Women Movement. She became involved in the or- ganization in 2008 through her sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
