MS. VALERIE NICHELLE GUZMAN
Ms. Valerie Nichelle Guz- man of Tampa, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 20,2015,at11a.m.atRay Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, with Reverend Haddock, officiat- ing. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Ms. Valerie Guzman was a native of Buffalo, New York, and a resident of Tampa for over 50 years. Valerie worked as a fiscal and busi- ness analyst at the University of South Florida, where she was employed for the last 30 years of her life.
She was preceded in death by: her mother, Martha Lewis-Smith; her father, Charles Smith; and her brother, Michael Smith.
She leaves behind to cher- ish her memory: her two daughters, Amanda Guzman and Alicia (Christopher) LaBoy; her sister, Janet Smith; her brothers, Charles Smith, Ronald Smith and Enoch Smith; and two grand- children, Tahirah Allah- Sharief and Evelyn LaBoy.
She also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends.
The remains will repose after 5 p. m., Friday, June 19, 2015, at Ray Williams Fu- neral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.

MR. FRANK ROGERS
Mr. Frank Rogers of Tampa, passed away Thurs- day, June 11, 2015.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 20,2015,at11a.m.at Greater Friendship Mission- ary Baptist Church, 3325 E. Emma St., Reverend Madi- son Murray, pastor, with Reverend Charles Rogers, of- ficiating. Interment will fol- low in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Rogers was a native of Anguilla, Mississippi, and a resident of Tampa for 6 years. He attended Sharkey County Schools in Anguilla, MS, and was a member of Saint Mark God and Christ, Chicago, IL. After relocating to Tampa, he joined Greater Friendship M. B. Church.
Mr. Rogers was employed as a Cook at Marvin Restau- rant and a Rehabilitation Shelter in Chicago, IL.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Lorenzo Rogers, Sr. and Mary Thomas Rogers; sister, Catherine Rogers; and brother, Homer Hunter.
He leaves to cherish his memory: two daughters, Jacqueline McLean and hus- band, Jo-Nathan of Stock- bridge, GA, and Pamela Norwood and husband, Cleotha of Memphis, TN; sis- ter, Lorraine Sanders of Chicago, IL; two brothers, Lorenzo Rogers, Jr. of Tampa, and Robert Earl Rogers, Sr. of Chicago, IL; 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.

MRS. BONITA L. NORTON
Mrs. Bonita L. Norton of Brandon, passed away Mon- day, June 8, 2015.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 20,2015,at11a.m.atThe Center for Manifestation, 3102 E. Lake Avenue, Apostle Dr. Mark Jones, pastor, with Evangelist Brenda Allen, offi- ciating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Norton was a native of Tampa, where she resided for 51 years. She was edu- cated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Tampa Bay Technical High School.
Mrs. Bonita L. Norton served as the First Lady and Co-Pastor of Empowered for Purpose Ministries, Inc.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Anderson and LaVerne Morris; mother-in-law, Rosa Lee Norton; and father-in-law, Daniel Norton, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Elder Dennis Ronald Norton; five children, Tatanisha Reese, Michelle Shine, Sharia Nor- ton, Sandria Norton and Em- manuel Norton and wife, Cherica; nine grandchildren, Alana Bennett, Micah Har- rity, Jadon Harrity, Judah Norton, Arrayah Norton, Ke- haulani Holden, Deondre Norton, Faith Norton and Genesis Norton; five broth- ers, Charles R. ELDER GEORGE K. JACKSON, SR.
Elder George K. Jackson, Sr. of Tampa, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2015, in New York.

Ellicott Avenue, Pas- tor Tom and Lady Jones, pas- tors, with Elder Aaron B. Hayes, Sr., officiating, and Pastor Isiah J. Williams, Sr., eulogist. Interment will be held on Monday, June 22, 2015,at11a.m.atThe Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL, 33513.
Elder George K. Jackson, Sr. was born in Manhattan, NY, on August 23, 1952, to Elizabeth Johnson and George Jackson. He was raised in New York City, where he attended public schools. Elder George K. Jackson, Sr. served in the military for 20 years before retiring as a TSGT. He was a faithful member of Brown’s Memorial COGIC, Tampa, for many years, Expressions of Love Empowerment Cen- ter, Mulberry, FL, New Life Restoration Ministries Inc., Gibsonton, FL, and recently was a member of Our Lord’s Temple COGIC in New York, where he lived for the past three years until he transi- tioned to be with the Lord.
He is preceded in death by: his parents, Elizabeth John- son and George Jackson; mother-in-law, Mother Rosa Mae Laster; brother-in-law, Willie C. Laster, Sr.; sister- in-law, Rudine Sims; and niece Tiffany Albury.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Jessica Jackson, whom he was mar- ried to for 11 years and was the step-father to her chil- dren.
He also leaves behind his ex-wife, Lillian Jones (Rudy), whom he was married to for 25 years and the mother of his children.
He leaves behind: three daughters, LaSheka Robin- son (Richard), Shawntai Jackson and Jahira Lee; three sons, George K. Jack- son, Jr. (Wahtura), Jesse Lee and Jashon Lee; 15 grand- children, Joshua Hall, Naeemah Richardson, Jere- miah Sheppard, Iyanna Dow- ell, Niaa Dowell, Mikal Hayes, Ja’laya Robinson, Sh- eryana Lee, Mi’Kayla Mur- phy, Vashti Lee, Millionna Lee, Jocelyn Robinson, Ec- clesia Lee, Yas’mine Jackson and LonDynn Haynes; 3 brothers, Curtis Priester, Keith Priester and Phillip Jackson; sister, Gail Sata- hoo; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mrs. Betty Colson-Knight of Tampa, passed away Fri- day, June 5, 2015.

Mrs. Knight was a native of Marianna, FL, and a resi- dent of Tampa for 50 years. She was educated by the Hillsborough County Public School District, and was em- ployed as a Cashier at St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Clarence R. Knight; mother, Carrie Col- son; grandmother, Agnes Gadson; daughter, Angela Davis; and uncle, Ernest Col- son and wife, Mary.
She leaves to cherish her memory: son, Vincent Knight (April); three grandsons, Tony Davis, Chris Saffold and Vincent D. Knight, Jr.; two first cousins, Yolanda Colson and Tonya Colson- Smith (Jerome) of Atlanta, GA; two sisters-in-law, Roberta Knight of GA, and Erma Sims of Atlanta, GA; nieces, Bridgett Knight of GA, and Betty J.
